This is the first bracelet I have made. It is made of Argentium silver and standard sterling silver, and 24kt gold.
It was formed useing a method called aniclastic raising. this made an arch to which I solder a flat strip of silver to to make the outside of the bracelet.
The caps on the ends are sterling silver. the fine silver was brought up on the caps and then the gold was applied.
This process is called Kumboo it is a Korean gold fusion process. the whole piece is heated up and then burnished onto the fine silver from the sterling, the 24kt gold and silver molecules are excited by the heat and they start to share electrons and that is why the gold stick to the silver.
I like the way this turned out.
